Mason's Grill opened in 1998 but started as a small coffee shop on Sherwood Forest called The Daily Grind. The previous owners Mike and Shirlee Alfandre added lunch and dinner, then began to introduce small breakfast items which have become the famous Brunch people still enjoy today! In July 2022, we bought Mason's Grill to carry on the family-owned tradition and remain the Leauxcal Neighborhood Bar and Grill. We were regulars there ourselves and loved it!

Mason’s Grill has a long standing tradition of regulars that frequent the establishment almost daily and weekly where everyone knows your name! You quickly become an extension of our family. Our goal is to continue this tradition, to prepare the best quality food and use the freshest ingredients from local Louisiana distributors that we serve from our family to yours. 

We have exciting plans in the near future to update the Brand as well as the aesthetics and acoustics of the building. We are faced with some challenges due to an existing old solid concrete building with limitations. In regards to the menu, no worries, your favorite food will remain with some new introductions coming soon! We want everyone to enjoy their dining experience with us so if something is wrong, please give us the opportunity to make it right! We want to hear from you.
